Mincor Resources Nl announces Outstanding New High-Grade Nickel Intercepts At Golden Mile

2022-06-01 22:33:00

Mincor Resources NL reported further significant results from underground drilling targeting the recently discovered nickel surface in the highly prospective exploration zone between the Company's Long and Durkin North Operations at Kambalda in Western Australia (together, the "Northern Operations"). Drilling continues to expand and increase confidence in the LN04a surface, paving the way for an initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) in July 2022, if not earlier with the timely delivery of assays. When Mincor first announced the discovery of the LN04a surface, the Company defined the initial spatial extents of the new surface of approximately 550m by 150m. The latest round of drilling has provided additional confidence in the continuity of the mineralised surface within those extents, but with potential to grow beyond the original interpretation, with the surface remaining open along strike and, notably, up-dip. Recent drilling has also continued to reflect the high-grade massive sulphide intersections observed in the earlier rounds of drilling, resembling the typical Kambalda-type ore surface mined historically at Mincor's Northern Operations. A significant underground drilling program will continue at the Golden Mile over the remainder of CY2022.

Positive

Mincor Resources NL Announces First Development Ore Intersected Early at Northern Operations

2021-12-14 22:11:00

Mincor Resources NL announced that it has achieved a major milestone as it closes-in on the restart of nickel production in Kambalda, with development ore intersected ahead of schedule in two development headings at the Northern Operations (Durkin North). Significantly, high-grade development ore was intersected in the development heading on the 485 level at Durkin North approximately 36 metres ahead of the modelled first ore contact, with face sampling confirming high-grade massive sulphides (face sampling returned grades of up to 11.5% Ni). Development will continue through this newly identified zone and advance towards the targeted ore contact, the D1 ore surface, which is scheduled to be intersected later this month. Mincor believes that this potential new ore surface is related to the historical 1252 Embayment a sparsely drilled structure with known extensions through to the Otter Juan orebody, which historically hosted the significant "52 Orebody". Previous drilling of the 1252 structure was focussed on the flatter portions of the embayment, and it was not drill tested over the entire projected extent. Historic diamond drilling has been sub-parallel to where this new ore zone is now projected, meaning that this new zone may be open to the west, east and down-plunge. The Otter Juan mine is Kambalda's oldest mine and by far its largest single producer, with operations dating back to 1970. Mincor is currently reviewing this latest information to assess the opportunity for follow-up drilling to test the extent and continuity of this potential new ore surface. Importantly, this high grade mineralization is located outside the current mine plan and highlights the opportunity to identify additional nickel in previously unmined areas at Kambalda. The operations team has also confirmed first development ore ahead of schedule in the target zone at the 510 level access at Durkin North. At the time of the publishing this announcement only small samples had been analysed (which confirmed massive and matrix nickel sulphides) with a limited amount of ore extracted on the first contact. Visual mapping and analysis is ongoing.

Mincor Resources NL Announces $30 Million Revolving Credit Facility Ready for Draw-Down

2021-10-29 03:02:00

Mincor Resources NL reported that it has executed binding documentation with BNP Paribas for the $30 million Revolving Credit Facility ("RCF") announced as part of the recent $66.3 million capital raising. BNP Paribas provided a Credit Approved Terms Sheet for the new facility as announced on 7 September 2021, with the RCF replacing the approved $55 million syndicated Project Finance Facility. The recent capital raising completed by Mincor demonstrates the strength of the Company's current financial plan and the terms of the new facility reflect that strength. Mincor intends to utilise the funding over the next month for project development purposes at its Kambalda Nickel Operations.

Mincor Resources NL Reports Massive Sulphide Hit Extends High Grade Nickel Zone

2021-09-16 22:34:00

Mincor Resources NL reported two significant new high- grade massive sulphide nickel intersections, significantly extending the recently discovered mineralisation at the emerging "Hartley" prospect (renamed from Location 1), 17km north-west of its Cassini mine. Two new holes (MDD373W1 & MDD373W2) were drilled further south along strike from the high-grade intercepts announced on 25 August 2021, all within a 3km long untested zone. The holes returned the following assay results: MDD373W1 - 1.4m @ 3.0 % Ni; and MDD373W2 - 4.5m @ 3.3 % Ni The two holes were designed to test a 100m section to the south of the intercept in MDD372 reported on 25 August 2021. MDD373W2 is the most significant intersection encountered to date at the Hartley prospect in terms of its width, high grade and tenor. Importantly, this intersection sits in an open contact position, with a secondary hanging wall intersection of 2.2m @ 2.4% Ni approximately 6 metres above the mineralisation on the basalt contact. Interestingly, the contact was further to the east than modelled, suggesting a potentially more deeply embayed trough. These factors suggest that the mineralised channel could be stronger towards the south, although this will require further drilling to evaluate. The next hole, MDD374, is currently underway testing a further 100 metres to the south along the plunge of the channel.

Mincor Resources NL Announces High Grade Nickel Intersections at Location 1

2021-08-24 23:12:00

Mincor Resources NL has recorded two significant new high-grade massive sulphide nickel intersections (MDD371 & MDD372) in the 3km untested zone north of the Wannaway nickel mine, located 17km north-west of its new Cassini Operations. As advised in the Company's recent Quarterly Report, drill testing of the Location-1 target commenced in the June Quarter to confirm whether a potential channel located beneath a significant magnetic anomaly (extending over 1,250 metres of strike) could potentially host nickel sulphide mineralisation. A successful outcome from this limited drill program would have been to intersect sediment-free basal contact with thickened high MgO ultramafic - the typical prospective host stratigraphy for nickel sulphide mineralisation at Kambalda. Not only did the program achieve this outcome, but hole MDD365 intersected a narrow interval of nickel sulphides, returning 0.3m at 1.8% Ni in a footwall massive stringer vein (as reported previously). Recent drilling was completed to test EM plates generated from down-hole EM (DHEM) surveys undertaken on holes MDD365 and MDD368, and those survey results ultimately lead to two highly significant new intercepts located approximately 100m apart on roughly the same elevation. A summary of the new significant results are as follows: MDD371 - 0.8m @ 5.4% Ni (max assay of 0.1m @ 17.9% Ni in the massive vein, on contact); and 2.7m @ 1.4% Ni (off contact, in a hangingwall position). MDD372 - 1.2m @ 3.5% Ni (including 0.4m @ 4.4% Ni, on contact); 1.1m @ 2.9% Ni (including 0.3m @ 3.6% Ni, marginally off contact).

Mincor Resources NL Receives Intersections to Date At Golden Mile

2021-08-22 23:15:00

Mincor Resources NL reported two significant new high-grade massive sulphide intersections (ULG-21-028 & ULG-21-30) in the 1.1km zone between its Long and Durkin North mines (Golden Mile) near Kambalda. The new intercepts, the thickest encountered to date, are 40m to the south and 27m to the north respectively from UGL-21-022 (0.6m at 4.6% Ni) announced on 2 August 2021. Mincor was once again able to facilitate rapid turnaround of assays on the new Golden Mile intersections, with a summary of the new results as follows: ULG-21-030 8.1m @ 4.2% Ni, including 3.7m @ 6.0% Ni and 1.7m @ 4.5% Ni (all on contact); ULG-21-028 2.6m @ 3.7% Ni, including 0.3m @ 8.2% Ni (on contact). These latest results are the best intersections received to date from this emerging position with the combination of substantially increased thickness and high grades. This emerging area down-dip from Stockpile Two isdemonstrating great promise, given its proximity to existing underground infrastructure.

Positive

Mincor Resources NL Confirms Third Massive Sulphide Intercept At Golden Mile

2021-08-02 04:00:00

Mincor Resources NL announced that it has recorded a third high-grade massive sulphide nickel intersection in hole (ULG-21- 022) in the 1.1km zone between its Long and Durkin North mines, near Kambalda. The newest intercept is 35 metres down-dip from the first intersection (ULG-21-016) announced on 15 July 2021. Mincor was able to facilitate quick turnaround assays on the second and third intersections concurrently, with a summary of the results as follows: ULG-21-020 0.3m @ 5.0% Ni including 0.2 m @ 6.5% Ni; ULG-21-022 0.6m @ 4.6% Ni including 0.4m @ 5.3% Ni.

Positive

Mincor Resources NL Receives Assay Results from Long and Durkin North Mines, Near Kambalda

2021-07-22 23:21:00

Mincor Resources NL announced that it has received assay results for the massive sulphide intercept in the 1.1km zone between its Long and Durkin North mines, near Kambalda. The results confirm the high-grade tenor of the intersection, returning an outstanding intercept of 0.5m @ 6.3% Ni (including 0.3m @ 8.5% Ni). In a further encouraging development, the company can report that another intersection has occurred 24m down-dip from the above assayed intersection. The estimated width of this new intersection is 0.3 metres and, while portable-XRF analysis has confirmed the high-grade tenor, given this is based solely on a visual inspection, the company will await assay results to confirm the average nickel grade.

Positive

Mincor Resources NL Announces Update on Underground Drilling Program

2021-07-14 23:23:00

Mincor Resources NL announced that it has made a strong start to its underground drilling program in the untested 1.1km zone between the Long and Durkin North mines near Kambalda, with the second drill-hole intersecting a zone of high-tenor massive sulphides. A major program of underground drilling commenced recently from the first identified stockpile location in the space between the Long and Durkin North orebodies, referred to as the "Golden Mile" of nickel in Mincor presentations. The program will comprise sequential 'fans' of underground diamond drill holes which, in conjunction with down-hole electromagnetics (DHEM), will systematically test this zone for significant new zones of nickel sulphide mineralisation. In an excellent start to this program for fiscal year 22, the second diamond hole has yielded an exciting massive sulphide intersection which demonstrates the typical high-grade tenor associated with the Kambalda Dome mines of Long and Otter Juan. The estimated width of the intersection is 0.5 metres and, while portable-XRF analysis has confirmed the high- grade tenor, given this is based solely on a visible inspection and consistent with Mincor standards the Company will await final assays to confirm the average nickel grade of the intersection. Assay results are expected within 1-2 weeks. Mincor awarded the underground drilling contract to Webdrill in the March 2021 Quarter and mobilisation to site was completed in late June/early July 2021. The second underground drilling rig is currently completing a small grade control program. Once completed later this quarter, that rig will be utilised for the exploration program. A permanent wire for down-hole EM will be delivered to site in August 2021, meaning that an active DHEM program can be efficiently completed. In general, DHEM will be conducted on every second hole to assist with targeting for the drilling program as it progresses sequentially across the 'Golden Mile'.

Cash Flow Analysis

Mincor's recently published cash flow showed overall, underwhelming numbers. Both Asset Turnover and Net Cash Flow were particularly concerning. Mincor's asset turnover numbers were discouraging, reflecting significant concerns related to management's ability to leverage assets to generate sales effectively and efficiently. Mincor recorded asset turnover of 0.0, which represents a -99.6% change from the previous report. Companies in the same industry and market capitalization are typically affected by this parameter by up to 3.2%. Their lackluster asset turnover metrics, specifically in contrast to leading industry peers' performance, could present significant headwinds. Therefore, their asset turnover movement earned a score of 45. Also, Mincor's net cash flow metrics were 36.4 according to their current filing, which represents a 105.5% change from the previous report. As demonstrated by these concerning net cash flow metrics, their priorities seem to be headed in the wrong direction. Hence, their net cash flow earned a score of 63. On the other hand, Capex, jumped out as looking rather positive. Mincor's published capital expenditures (CapEx) numbers were encouraging and reflected management's balanced change strategy. Mincor recorded CapEx of -7.1, which represents -143.4% change from the previous report. This performance is all the more impressive relative to their peers and competitors. The company's CapEx movement, therefore, received a grade of 72. Its cash flow, therefore, earned a score of 57.
